Why Afan lodge?
Afan Lodge offers a comfortable stay in the heart of the Neath and Port Talbot area. With something for all the family, it’s the perfect retreat to get back to nature.

The Project
Afan Lodge approached Pixelhaze after a recommendation from a mutual client. They already had an existing website which was made in 2012 at the time the website was made it would’ve been considered professional and modern, as design styles continue to develop and change over time it began to look quite outdated. It was due an update to bring it to the 21st century.
Our Solution
To stay within Afan lodges brand we decided the best time to conduct the photoshoot would be in Autumn as the seasonal colours would complement their yellow logo and branding. The photoshoot consisted of landscape shots from the scenery of the Port Talbot area to properly convey it’s beautiful setting.
We played on the Afan Lodge branding through the use of silhouettes which mimicked the logo. We used this theme throughout the site in items such as images and banner backgrounds.
We created our own silhouette illustrations to tell a story of the different activities and adventures that can be had in and around the Afan Lodge area. By using photography and a modern easily digestible layout, we have created a professional website that enhances Afan Lodge and its surroundings to holidaymakers.
