Over 30 years, DEAL have collect a vast amount of Tractors, Machinery & Implements ready to be sold. With the amount of products available, this has caused some growing pains, with the original website no longer being able to facilitate their needs.
DEAL required a fresh website redesign which matched their matured brand and growth. Alongside this growth, David & Tom needed a content management system which would allow them to easily add new machinery to their brochureware website.
Adding products to the website took far too long, sometimes taking up to half hour to add one product, this process needed greatly reduced.
SOLUTION
Building the system from the ground up, we developed a bespoke inventory management system which allowed the DEAL team to easily upload and manage products on their website. When a new Tractor/Machine/Implement entered the premises, the team would take pictures of the product, fill out a simple form and upload the item to the online catalogue there and then without leaving the yard. This narrowed down the time from 30 minutes, to 5, allowing far more products to be added to the store with ease.
Building the catalogue first, we developed the rest of the new Squarespace website around it. We wanted the online catalogue to be the highlight of site, allow new and returning visitors to easily see what products are available at their Llancarfan store.
The new website design made full use of Squarespace 7.1’s fluid engine, using dividers accompanied with drone video footage to highlight the machinery in action. The landing page included a video header allowing New Holland implements, machinery and tractors to take centre stage.
